Connect your AI to SaveContent

SaveContent is a remote MCP server at https://savecontent.link/mcp. Connect it to your AI client and ask it to find the references you saved. Basic MCP with keywords and exact filters is free on every plan; Pro contextual search is coming soon.

Claude

Add SaveContent to Claude as a custom connector with the MCP URL.

  1. In Claude, open Settings → Connectors and choose Add custom connector.
  2. Paste https://savecontent.link/mcp and choose Connect.
  3. Sign in to your SaveContent account and approve access.
  4. In a chat, ask Claude to find your saved references.

ChatGPT

Coming soon. Until then, use Claude or another MCP client.

SaveContent is not listed in ChatGPT Plugins yet. Public connection becomes available after publication.

What the connection can and cannot do

  • Your AI gets one read-only tool, search_references, that sees only your own saves.
  • It finds saved Instagram posts and web pages by words in the title, caption, author or URL, filtered by source, saved date and Instagram posts with archived images, up to 50 results per page.
  • Results link to each reference in My saves and its original source. Image links expire after about an hour. Instagram results add a ZIP link with available media, captions and captured statistics that expires after ten minutes.
  • It cannot save, edit or delete references.
  • It does not look at images. Visual details are found only when they appear in saved text. Search by description and saving a research session are coming soon.
