Privacy Policy

SaveContent stores your account email and references you choose to save. Instagram references can include media, captions, authors and captured statistics. A saved website can include its URL, page HTML, title, metadata, favicon and screenshot preview. Clerk provides sign-in and sends account emails, Supabase provides the database and private file storage, Creem processes payments and Railway hosts the app.

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the website. It uses cookies and collects usage information, including page views, interactions, and browser and device information. CookieYes manages your cookie preferences. Analytics loads after you accept analytics cookies; you can change your choice using the cookie settings button.

The extension reads Instagram post data when you choose Save reference. Save page captures the website in the current tab when you press that button. Page copies are kept locally in Chrome; when the 250 MiB local library fills up, the oldest synced copies may be removed. Unsynced copies remain until you delete them or uninstall the extension. After you sign in, the extension also syncs copies to your private collection. The extension stores your SaveContent session locally. It does not send your Instagram password or cookies to SaveContent. Saved files are private and shared through temporary links when you open or export them.

If you connect SaveContent to ChatGPT, searches you request return matching saved titles, authors, URLs, dates and available content links to ChatGPT. Information obtained through Chrome extension APIs is used only to save and sync content you request; we do not sell browsing data or use it for advertising. Our use of information received through Chrome extension APIs complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Cloud references remain until you delete them. Deleted references remain restorable in Archive for seven days before permanent removal. You can delete local page copies in the extension’s Uploads screen. For account questions or a request to delete your account and its data, contact support@savecontent.link.
